Welcome Message
School Year 2026/2027

Chair of the School Board, School Year 2026/2027
Grace and peace to you in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Dear parents, teachers and staff, students, and all friends of Permata Ibu Adventist Academy,
With gratitude to God, and on behalf of the School Board, I welcome you to the official website of Permata Ibu Adventist Academy at the start of the 2026/2027 school year.
Since it opened on 18 July 1984 with two classrooms and twelve students, our school has served for more than forty years. We are thankful that God has guided the school through every season, so that it has continued to serve and to grow. Today Permata Ibu serves 130 students in Kindergarten, Primary and Junior High. All of this is a testimony to His faithfulness.
Adventist education rests on one conviction: true education is a work of restoration, restoring the image of God in every child. For this reason we look beyond grades and results. We nurture the growth of the whole person: spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional. We believe that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, and that every child is a precious jewel entrusted to us by God.
As the governing body, the School Board is committed to governance that is honest, transparent and accountable. We support our teachers in their professional growth, and we make sure the school remains a place that is safe, welcoming and free from violence and bullying for every child, whatever their background. This year we will also continue to improve our learning facilities, including the science laboratory we have long prayed for.
Education is a shared ministry. Home, school and church are the three pillars that support a child’s growth. We therefore invite you to walk with us through open communication, faithful prayer and genuine care, for the future of our children.
To our teachers and staff: thank you for the dedication and love you give every day. Your service is part of God’s eternal work.
May the 2026/2027 school year be a year of blessing, in which our children grow to be Christlike in character, excellent in science and technology, and independent.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
God bless us all.
Yours sincerely,
